On May 4 2NE1 appeared on stage alongside American hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg for his concert in Seoul, but CL's wardrobe malfunction has caused a few raised eyebrows.

Snoop Dogg asked the ladies of 2NE1 to perform with him for his first concert in Korea, Unite All Originals Live with Snoop Dogg, and fans were eager to see what the collaboration had in store.

During Snoop Dogg's hit song "Drop It Like It's Hot" the four idols busted onto the stage in colorful track suits to sing along with him.

The ladies were very animated during the performance, jumping and dancing all around the stage. However, CL's attire caused alarm as her cut-off T-shirt came up on more than one occasion to show the entirety of her bra to the audience.

While many fans attribute the undergarment exposure to the singer's passionate performance, the Korean media labeled it "provocative."

It appears that the 2NE1 singer-rapper was not intentionally leaving nothing to the imagination, as CL is well known for her animated stage behavior, but nonetheless, the bra incited a tremendous online response.

One comment on a Newsen article regarding the incident read, "People are way too harsh on CL. She's just performing hard, singing hard, living up to her title as a singer." And many other responders agreed.

But perhaps what was most interesting about the CL bra exposure was how many Hyuna comparisons it drew out. "Hyuna would have been ripped to shreds with hate if she had done this," remarked one internet user and raising one very good question: Why is it okay for CL to be provocative, but Hyuna is chastised for her revealing garments?

Fans had a lot to say on the issue.

"The difference is that CL isn't trying to show sex appeal while Hyuna is obviously trying to look as erotic as possible," concluded a netizen via Nate.

Another internet user shared thoughts on the matter as well, saying, "You want to know why people think CL exposing herself like this is cool, but Hyuna is called cheap? Because Hyuna is a singer who knows how to do nothing but erotic dances with hooded eyes. If Hyuna had been a great singer, no one would care if she pulled stunts like this. They'd just see it as one aspect of a performance."

Recently the 4Minute singer has been getting a lot of negative attention for her overt sexuality in music videos and on stage. But is it really fair to draw comparisons to Hyuna each time another idol is remotely provocative?
