Eggs and Rice Enough To Feed The Hungry, Fans Congratulate FTISLAND Lee Hong Ki For Movie Debut Through Charity Support

FTISLAND's Lee Hong Ki received a lot of moral support from his fans across the globe. In fact, he may have gotten too much to handle. Congratulating his new work in film, "Passionate Goodbye," his fans sent in 900 Kg bags of rice and 1,200 egg cartons. The truckloads of gifts arrived in time for the movie's production press conference and were displayed in a grandiose fashion outside near the entrance.

The rice and eggs will be donated to charity organizations of Lee Hong Ki's choice. After the press conference, Lee Hong Ki posed in front of the piles of gifts and posted the picture while thanking the fans for their generous support.

Previously, FTISLAND's fans have donated 550 Kg bags of rice at F.T. Island's concert back in November 2011, then 1.09 tons at their 5-year anniversary fan meeting and another 1.09 tons at the concert last September. In total, the amount of rice donated is 3.63 tons. The fans' thoughtful donation effort is expected to continue.

At the film press conference, all cast and crew members were present. When asked whether it was not difficult working with actors much senior to him, Lee Hongki responded, "I was actually really worried and stressed about that. But they were very kind to me in every aspect."

Lee Hong Ki plays an idol artist who has a court order to volunteer at children hospice centers after involvement in a fight.

The movie will premiere on May 30.
