Only a handful of K-pop acts have surpassed the 10-year mark in the heavily competative industry, but Brown Eyed Girls just made history.

Ten years since the release of their debut album "Your Story" on March 2, 2006, Brown Eyed Girls made history this week as the longest running K-pop girl group to not ever feature a line-up change. The longest-running K-pop girl group was Jewelry, who lasted 14 years through a variety of line-up changes until their disbandment last year.

Brown Eyed Girls are the only active female K-pop girl group to achieve a decade. They join the decade K-pop club alongside other active male K-pop groups including Super Junior, g.o.d, Shinhwa, and TVXQ.

The vocal quartet held a special broadcast through Naver's V App on March 2 to celebrate their anniversary. While thanking fans, the group joked about their age, since the youngest member Ga-In is now 30 years old by Korean standards (28 internationally).

They debuted under Nega Network but all of the members currently signed under Mystic Entertainment subsidiary label APOP Entertainment.

Brown Eyed Girls released the album "Basic" last October. The members are currently focusing on personal activities, with Ga-In working on a solo album and JeA appearing on the Mnet survival show "Produce 101."
