Fans Criticize ‘Rude’ Idol Behavior After Lee Hi’s ‘Inkigayo’ Win

Fans of Lee Hi have been fuming at what they perceive to be disrespectful behavior shown towards the YG singer after she won first place at SBS Inkigayo for her single "Breathe."

In the YouTube video of the March 20 episode of the show, Lee Hi was proclaimed the winner of the week, beating girl group Mamamoo. However, fans point out how only a few idols bowed to show respect.

"The only group that actually came to congratulate her is MAMAMOO," said one of the top-rated comments in the video, although the video does show a few more idols bowing to Lee Hi such as GOT7's Jackson.

Many commenters were also disappointed at the younger idols that shared the stage with Lee Hi but did not show enough acknowledgment through bowing.

"What happened to rookies nowadays! Big Bang bowed to their juniors, Super Junior bowed to their juniors, 2NE1 bowed to their juniors even SHINee bowed to their juniors especially when Lee Hi won over them. What happened to this new generation of K-pop?" said YouTube user Nikola Parrier.

Lee Hi's Inkigayo win is her second after claiming the number 1 win on M! Countdown on March 17. "Breathe" is one of two tracks she has been promoting and released with music videos as part of her mini album Seoulite, her first released under the YG hip hop sublabel HIGHGRND.

After watching the video, do you think the idols displayed rude behavior?
