HyunA Of 4minute In High Spirits During Day 3 Of Hospitalization: Singer Was 'Laughing On The Phone' Says Record Label Rep

4minute singer HyunA is recovering in a South Korean hospital for a third day, after being treated since Monday for a high fever and dehydration apparently caused by stress.

"HyunA collapsed due to a high fever before her activities, so she is in the hospital," a representative for 4minute's record label Cube Entertainment said Monday following the K-pop star's hospitalization.

"It looks like a high fever and dehydration case because of overworking. She's currently in the hospital and is receiving Intravenous therapy. She will undergo a more detailed check-up, and we'll get the full results tomorrow. Since her health is the most important, we're going to have to adjust her schedule."

As one of K-pop's biggest girl groups, 4minute apparently can't stop performing just because one of their five members is ill.

On Tuesday the band was back at work, pre-recording a performance of their hit song "What's Your Name?" for the South Korean music variety show Inkigayo or "The Music Trend," according to the website allkpop.

"What's Your Name" is currently number six on the Billboard Magazine K-pop Hot 100 singles chart.

But by Wednesday, HyunA was back to her old wacky self, according to a statement Cube Entertainment released on the 4minute singer's Facebook page.

"We called HyunA earlier and she was laughing on the phone," the statement said. "We're expecting the examination's results to be released today or tomorrow"

Facebook user Cameron Franklin is worried that HyunA isn't taking the stress that led to her hospitalization seriously enough.

"I'm glad that she's feeling better now," Franklin wrote on Wednesday. "And I absolutely don't have to worry about her or her label at all because they know what they're doing. I just hope that HyunA will take it super duper easy on herself when she gets back on stage with her fellow members. I don't want her to go back to the hospital for a different reason."

Fan Tran Le Nguyet Anh also wants to make sure HyunA gets the treatment she needs.

"I love HyunA but I really want her to be in hospital longer, which means she will have more rest," she commented.

Jeffrey Pacheco pleaded with Cube Entertainment to let the 4minute singer rest.

"Don't overwork her again," Pacheco wrote. "I'm glad she's better though."
