‘Bad Boys 3’ To Be Released On Jun. 2, 2017: Find Details About Cast, Plot, Spoilers Here

The fans of ''Bad Boys'' franchise and Will Smith are happy as ''Bad Boys 3'' will be released on Jun. 2, 2017.

IMDb confirmed that Will Smith will play the role of Detective Mike Lowrey and Martin Lawrence as Detective Marcus Burnett. Derrick Gilbert will play the role of Mike Jr. Jerry Bruckheimer who had produced the first 2 prequels is all set to produce ''Bad Boys 3.'' As reported by digitalspy, he wants Michael Bay to direct the third instalment too as he had created the blockbuster prequels.

In Jun. 2014, the details were released by Digitalspy. ''Speaking to Digital Spy at last week's Monte Carlo Television Festival, the producer said that screenwriter David Guggenheim (Safe House) is currently working on the storyline for the sequel.''

''We've been hearing talk about a potential Bad Boys III in the works at Sony for a long, long time now - but it seems that all of those earlier reports only got half the story. As it turns out, the studio is actually developing both Bad Boys III, and Bad Boys IV, and today it was officially announced that the sequels have release dates'' mentioned Cinemablend. They had come up with a release date of Feb. 17, 2017, however IMDb has a different date.

As per the latest news on Cinemablend, ''Based upon a new report from Screen Rant, we now know that Sony has bumped the release date of Bad Boys 3 from February 17, 2017 to June 3, 2017.'' There were more updates released by them. ''Details regarding Bad Boys 3 have remained sketchy at best. As of now all we really know for sure is that Will Smith and Martin Lawrence have both signed on to return as loose-cannon Mike Lowrey and family man Marcus Burnett, respectively. We recently reported new details about the film's upcoming villain, who the filmmakers have intentionally shrouded in a great deal of mystery'' is the new update about the plot of the movie.

''That same report also indicated that long time Bad Boys director Michael Bay may step down from behind the camera, with The A-Team director Joe Carnahan stepping in to replace him'' clarified Cinemablend. So it seems ''Bad Boys 3'' will have a different flavor compared to its prequels as the hand behind the camera and the main person to conceptualise the film seems to be changing.

''Deadline has gotten word from insiders that Sony is in early talks with writer/director Joe Carnahan to steer the future of the Bad Boys franchise. He will be picking up where the last screenwriter to work on the project - David Guggenheim - left off'' Cinemablend reported sometime back.

''Safe House scribe David Guggenheim wrote a strong draft that now has Joe Carnahan in early talks to do a quick pass to possibly direct'' reported deadline. So now since the movie's cast is shaping up, the fans are waiting eagerly for the release of the movie.

Stay tuned for more updates on this upcoming movie ''Bad Boys 3.''
