This American comedy film will be distributed by Universal Pictures and Lasse Hallström will direct the movie. This movie is based on the novel ''A Dog's Purpose'' by W. Bruce Cameron which was released in 2010. Britt Robertson as Hannah, Dennis Quaid, Bradley Cooper as Dog (voice), Peggy Lipton, Juliet Rylance as Elizabeth, Pooch Hall and K.J. Apa is the star cast of the movie.

The Hollywood reporter had reported way back in 2015 about the joining of the star cast of this movie. ''Lasse Hallstrom is directing DreamWorks' adaptation, and Walden Media has come on board to co-finance and co-produce'' reported the article.

Cooper's recently released movie ''10 Cloverfield Lane'' surprised the audience with his unexpected cameo role. It has collected $107 million in the box office as per the latest report on box office mojo. Considering the fact that the budget was only $15 million, this is a great success for the movie.

His upcoming movie ''War Dogs'' will be released on Aug. 19, 2016. It looks like Cooper has fallen in love with ''Dogs.'' ''Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2'' will be another much-awaited movie which will be released in 2017 and Cooper will play the role of Rocket.
