Who are your favorite Korean-American K-pop Idols? PART 2

Continuning from part 1 of "Your Favorite Korean-American K-pop Idols," here's part 2 of other Korean-American singers you all love so much!

JYJ's Micky Yoochun was born and raised in Korea, but he moved to Fairfax, Virginia in the sixth grade. The popular idol star attended middle school and high school in VA before packing his bags and moving back to the motherland to begin a career in music. I wonder how his life in Virginia would've been if he never became a pop-singing superstar.

Ballad singer John Park was born in Korea, but moved to Chicago, Illionis when he was 4. The deep-voiced crooner wowed judges on the ninth season of American Idol and made it into the semifinals before he got the boot. The 25-year-old decided to put his college degree on hold and jetted off to Korea where he was a runner-up in Superstar K2.

Krystal Jung, younger sister of Jessica Jung of SNSD, was born in San Francisco, California. The two sisters were discovered by SM Entertainment during a family trip to Korea. After shooting a string of commercials and appearing in music videos for several years, Krystal finally debuted in girl group, f(x), in 2009.

Amber Liu of girl group f(x), might not be Korean-American but she's an Asian-American who lives, breathes, and eats Korean culture so we're placing her on this list. The Taiwanese-American was born in San Fernando Valley, California and was discovered in Los Angeles in 2008. She and a fellow male singer were the only two to be selected at a SM Entertainment global audition to be brought to Korea to begin training. A year later she debuted with f(x) and became famously known for her androgynous looks.

One half of Fly to the Sky, Brian Joo, was born in Los Angeles, California but lived most of his life in Absecon, New Jersey. Though he left to pursue a music career in Korea at the age of 17, the singer came back to attend Rutgers University for a year. Though he never finished up his college degree in the States, he did graduate from Dongguk University in Korea with a degree in theatre and film.

Did anyone on the list surprise you? Who's your favorite?  Let us know in the comments below.
