Two of the hottest rappers in the game are joining forces.

According to a music industry insider on June 30, Winner's Song Minho and iKon's Bobby will be releasing an album together as a subunit. After releasing solo tracks later in July, the two will begin unit activities in August.

Solo tracks from the each rapper will make up a part of the album.

YG confirmed the insider's statements, adding, "we have already filmed the music video for the Bobby and Minho subunit. However, we will not make any further statements on the title track at this time."

Korean media outlet OSEN reported that, according to someone who worked on the music video, "the song is consistent with Minho and Bobby's style. It's legit hip-hop."

As the two are both the main rappers of their group, as well as the winner and runner-up on the rap reality show "Show Me The Money," the album is likely to be full of hip-hop tracks.
