On the October 30 episode of MBC's Section TV, actress Han Chae Young shared some exclusive details about her life as a mother, her son and even her parenting philosophies.

Truly, parenthood is not for the faint hearted. It comes with such a big responsibility of raising a child right into this world, nourishing them with love and instilling in them the moral values that would help guide them towards a better future. It is said that how a child turns out says a lot about a parent. Being a parent means devoting a lot of time and effort and making the necessary sacrifices just to meet the child's needs. Now if time is such an important component in parenthood, one would definitely be curious as to how celebrity parents handle the pressure of being in the limelight and being a parent.

For Korea's Barbie Doll, Han Chae Young, it seems that she has no problem raising her son as she only had good stories to tell during her guest appearance on Section TV. "He is pretty talkative and because of his age, he likes dinosaurs a lot. He gets mad at me if I don't get the dinosaurs' names right and because of that I have to constantly consult a dinosaur dictionary."The actress said, as reported by Allkpop.

When asked about her parenting philosophies, the actress cites only one word, "Freedom."

"I want my son to experience a lot of freedom as he is still young. I just want him to run and play without a care in the world about studying. He had just started in kindergarten and he already struggles to study for an unreasonable amount of time." The 36-year old explained.

According to KDrama Starz, Han Chae Young has been married to her husband, Korean-American businessman Choi Dong Joon, for about nine years now and gave birth to their son back in 2013.

Speaking of the hubby, Han Chae Young says that her husband plays an active role in their child's life and is actually jealous of him about one thing. "He helps with a lot. Unfortunately, since our child is a boy, he likes his father more and I get very jealous about that." Han Chae Young says, her smile indicating that it's actually a good kind of jealousy.

Han Chae Young has been known for her doll-like features which led to the press dubbing her as the 'Living Barbie Doll of Korea' and is most popularly known for her roles in Autumn in My Heart, Boys Over Flowers, Pretty Man and Delightful Girl Choon-Hyang.
