SBS' drama “Moon Lover: Scarlet Heart Ryeo” has been experiencing ups and downs in its viewership rating at home. Therefore, to boost its rating, the main character Lee Joon-Gi decided to do something that would work well to make the final episode climb back to the Top 10 most favorite dramas.

In order to boost the drama’s rating, Lee sent an open invitation to his fans to watch the drama together. He sent out an open invitation in his social media account. The event, which designated to be a fan meeting, was scheduled to be held at the Lotte Cinema World Tower in Sincheon-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul on November 1.

One day before the event, around 10,000 fans have gathered and queued to enter the venue according to report by Yonhap News Agency. As there is no enough space in the location, there are some people who were unable to enter the venue. Lee apologized to his fans for that,

"There are many people who were excited to come for the gathering. I am sorry for those who unable to join the gathering," Lee expressed his gratitude and his apology as well.

His effort worked well as the final episode of “Moon Lover: Scarlet Heart Ryeo” hit the top mark with the 11.3% in Nielsen Korea, as reported by DongA News. While in TnMS, it also hit highest rating with 10.8%.

The final episode of “Moon Lover: Scarlet Heart Ryeo”  ended up with a cliffhanger as Hae-Soo, who is now married to the 14th prince Wang-Jung, is pregnant and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. The girl’s father is allegedly the fourth prince Wang-So, who is now the fourth monarch - the Goryeo King Gwangjong.

Hae-Soo later wakes up in present time as she remembers her experience in Goryeo Kingdom as a dream. She also found that history recorded King Gwangjong as a good king. Later the scene is ended in Goryeo time as King Gwangjong made a promise to himself about Hae-Soo, “Even if we are not of the same world, I will find you. Soo-a.”
