‘Woman with a Suitcase’ wraps up the story this week, airing two episodes back-to-back
"Woman with a Suitcase” final two episodes finishes the story this week. MBC decides to air two episode back-to-back, instead of airing one the final episode on the following week.
The legal drama “Woman with a Suitcase” has received a warm welcome in the international viewers, due to its insight to South Korean legal system. However, it has not received similar reponse from domestic viewers. Prior to final airing, its average rating in TnMS and AGB Nielsen Korea are recorded at 7.16 percent and 8.24 percent.
“Woman with a Suitcase” suffered a slight decrease in the viewership rating since the episode 7 after a successful first sixth episode. From then on, its rating continue to decline. Last week, the drama has regained some of its lost viewers after returning back to its original theme as legal drama. According to Seoul Daily, the production team promised to continue building tension in the story for its viewers satisfaction.
In the “Woman with a Suitcase” Episode 14, the story continue from previous episode. Geum-Joo confronted the hitman Kang at the river bank. She opened up the fact that she knew all about the law-beaking activity of his boss Lee Dong-Soo.
Kang got agitated, he drew his gun and pointing it at her. She stood up to him and Kang ended up shooting her.
The K-Fact reporter who was accompanying with Geum-Joo rushed her to the hospital. Fortunately she was only get shot in the hand. Afterward, Geum-Joo gave a press conference about the incident and demanded the justice to be upheld.
Geum-Joo then visited her step sister, Hyeun-Joo who worked for Lee Dong-Soo. Hyeun-Joo asked her about Yoo Tae-Hoo, the key witness to the murder case. This will be the opening to the rivalry between them in the final episodes.
According to official release from MBC, the final two episodes of “Woman with a Suitcase” aired consecutively on Tuesday, Nov. 15.
