Brooke Mueller, Ex-Wife Of Charlie Sheen, Rambles About Mafia Connections In Psychotic Episode At Home
Brooke Mueller, ex-wife of television star, Charlie Sheen and mother of their two young children, was allegedly going through a serious psychiatric episode, rambling about her "mafia connections" when she was forced into involuntary psychiatric hold earlier this month, according to TMZ.
According to TMZ, a phone call was placed from Brooke Mueller's Los Angeles home on May 1st by a man who claimed Mueller had assaulted him. When the LAPD arrived, Brooke Mueller was allegedly rambling about her connections to the Mafia and how she had been in constant contact with the FBI for several months. The subject of her supposed contacts with the FBI? Her husband, Charlie Sheen.
Mueller said that she was giving the Feds info about her husband, who has had his own share of psychotic moments in the public eye, that would "bring him down."
According to TMZ, the cops who arrived at the Mueller home believed Brooke was under the influence and looked as if she hadn't slept for several days. Hers and Sheen's 4-year-old twins, Bob and Max, were in the house at the time.
According to reports, the police then called the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services, which had an open case with Brooke. Steps were then immediately taken to place Mueller on a 3-day psychiatric hold. She was then taken to the UCLA Medical Center.
As for the drug that triggered the alleged psychotic episode ... sources tell us it was Adderall -- the same drug Lindsay Lohan feels she can't do without.
Ironically, Mueller just checked into the Betty Ford rehab facility in Rancho Mirage, California for a 30-day stay, exactly where Lindsay Lohan is at this very moment. Perhaps, they can share stories of their life choices. In fact, according to TMZ, the two troubled starlets have bumped into one another inside the Ford Center.
Lohan is legally bound to Betty Ford, while Mueller voluntarily checked herself in for "prescription drug abuse" after this most recent episode at her home.
Mueller's twins are currently residing with Sheen's ex-wife and mother of his two daughters Denise Richards.
