Baek Ah Yeon and Got7's JB holiday comeback with 'Just Because'
Someone is coming and returning to K-Pop town this Christmas season!
Fans would be glad to hear the sweet voice of the Kpop Star Season 1 runner up Baek Ah Yeon again as she is set to comeback with a holiday album with the single entitled "Just Because". This single would bring all the love for Christmas as she will be having a collaboration with one of the handsome and talented boys of GOT7, none other than JB.
With regards to the said comeback, JYP Entertainment has released a set of teasers over their official Instagram account on November 29, according to a report released by Offcially K-Music. The teasers featured snapshots of the two donning white sweaters and of course, there were snippets of the actual song. Based from the short videos, the song is a mellow music which highlighted the sweet and angelic voices of Ah Yeon and JB.
"Just Because" shall be Ah Yeon's comeback after her hit single "So-so" on May this year. "So-so" actually trended due to its lyrics which was all about a complicated love story that can't be defined. Because of this, it was nominated in different award-giving bodies set this December and even early next year. Some of these are the 18th Mnet Asian Music Awards where the song was nominated for two categories, 'Best Vocal Performance - Female' and 'Hotels Combined Song of the Year'. It is also nominated for two awards next year namely the prestigious Bonsang award for the 26th Seoul Music Awards and the Digital Bonsang award for the 31st Golden Disk Awards.
Baek Ah Yeon started her career in 2011 as she became a runner up in the first season of the popular talent show 'Kpop Star' alongside Lee Hi and Park Ji Min. Now, Ah Yeon continues to have a fluorishing career after hits like "So-so" and "Shouldn't Have". She was also a frequent singer of OSTs for hit Korean dramas like "Yong Pal" and the recently concluded "Scarlet Heart Ryeo".
