As Christmas creeps closer, many Kpop artists are getting in the holiday spirit with new covers of old songs. One of them is BTS's Jin who decided to give a new Christmas spin to his solo track, 'Awake'.

Starting off with the ring of a telephone and the scratching of something being written down, it already feels like a new track. Adding some sleigh bells, and a more acoustic instrumental of the original track, you get to appreciate Jin's beautiful song and voice while also reminiscing about one of the best holidays of the year. You're sure to be thinking of snowy evenings and a cozy nights in front of the fireplace with this cover- even if where you live is a sauna in December! Finishing with the same dial tone and someone picking up, you hear Jin wish you a 'Happy Christmas', with one of his signature kisses to top it off.

The original track was released as part of BTS's second full album, 'Wings', where all seven members got their own solos. Jin's 'Awake' was probably the most emotional of the tracks with it's slow tempo, sad melody and reflective lyrics. He also surprised fans with his ever-improving vocal ability and high notes.
