It has been reported that Wonder Girls' contracts are going to expire next year. The nine-year-old girl group is still in discussion with JYP Entertainment whether the remaining four members will renew their contracts or not.

This year has been an amazing year for Wonder Girls with their latest release "Why So Lonely." "Why So Lonely" achieved all kill and broke records for Wonder Girls as they achieved number one spot on various music charts in Korea. Before that, "I Feel Good" also achieved immense success for the girls.

Their album "Reboot" was a huge success especially after the two most famous members, Sohee and Sunye, left the group. People thought Wonder Girls is over, but they proved them wrong and even rebrand themselves as a girl band.

Wonder Girls, JYP's first girl group, debuted back in 2007 and had gone through so many things. They were the K-Pop first girl group to reach top 100 billboards' chart with their song "Nobody." They left their popularity to try and conquer America but failed. They did return in Korea but did not gain the popularity they had immediately after.

Honestly, I do think they will renew especially with the new trust Korean netizens gave their music. Wonder Girls also started to have freedom with their music, so I do think their contract will be very lenient unlike newly debuted groups like Twice.

It is evident that they can do whatever they want since they compose their music and do a collaboration with other solos or rappers. Also, dating news does not affect them anymore so that everything will be fine.

I think the only thing that might hinder the girls from renewing the contract is if they are going to get married, and I do not see that happening in the next two years.

If the members survived their failed American advancement and two-year hiatus, they would renew because everything is going great for them!
