Early this December, several notable names in the Korean entertainment industry have been implicated in the #CelebGate scandal which links various artists and celebrities to leaked nude videos. Names like Kim Minseok, Kim Giri, Madtown's Jota, ASTRO's Eunwoo, A-Jax's Hyeongkon and Jackson Wang of GOT7 are just some names linked to the scandal.

Actor-host Kim Minseok who is alleged to have filmed a masturbation video has fervently denied doing such an act and through his Instagram page, he said: "My friends are constantly calling me to ask if I had ever filmed a nude video. Do I have to seek legal assistance? Who makes these ridiculous rumors?"

Two other people who were linked to masturbation videos are actor Seo Ha Joon and A-Jax's Hyeongkon. The supposed video of Seo Ha Joon was leaked on December 10 and fans immediately speculated that the man in the video could in fact be the actor as they share quite a resemblance. Also, in the video, the man can be seen wearing a necklace that Seo Ha Joon has been spotted wearing before.

Hyeongkon, however, has made his Instagram account private after the news broke as reported by Inquistr.

It has also been reported earlier that GOT7's Jackson also has a masturbation video and that it is bound to be leaked any day now but so far, no video featuring the 22-year old singer-rapper has appeared as of yet. Being such a popular figure in k-pop, all eyes were immediately on Jackson and the news quickly spread all over the Internet.

But Koreaboo immediately broke down every facet of the news and according to them, here's why it is totally fake.

The main proponents of the news were @shadykpop (Shade Kpop Facts) and @newspapervsboy (N) on Twitter. Now their tweets have already been deleted but during the short time they existed, both accounts showed no source or even evidence to back their claims which is in itself is already a big sign that there is no authenticity in them.

Furthermore, reports say that the idol whose video has been leaked is 30 years old and Jackson is 8 years short of being 30 years old. Unfortunately though, fans quickly spread the news on the Internet out of confusion and maybe even excitement.

Koreaboo had also sought out the forum MLB Park where the rumors first began. On December 13, the forum has only 9,445 views but now has 38,746 views and contained comments from confused fans. One fan had even noticed how the list of celebrities with nude videos had increased from the 3 or 4 in the original article.

Hopefully, this issue will soon pass because it is never right to scrutinize a person's personal life even if that said person is a celebrity.
