The "Descendants of the Sun" actress, Song Hye Kyo, was caught on a controversy as her Instagram photo garnered several speculations from her fans and netizens.

Early this December, Song Hye Kyo's previous Instagram photo resurfaced where she was seen crying after reading a fan letter during her birthday fan meet in November. Although the actress clearly stated that her tears are mainly caused by the message of the fan, netizens are speculating that it was actually because of a break up.

On the day Song Hye Kyo posted the photo, a fan commented stating that it was also the day that actor Hyun Bin started dating actress Kang So Ra. The fan further shared her words of encouragement towards the actress and hoped that actor Song Joong Ki can make her happy instead.

According to Yibada, Hyun Bin and Song Hye Kyo dated after they grew closer on "The World that They Lived In". However, the two broke up due to Hyun Bin's enlistment to the military. There were also some issues that a third party caused their break up pointing fingers to Hyun Bin's leading lady in "Secret Garden", Ha Ji Won.

On a more recent post, Song Hye Kyo posted a photo of a Christmas tree without a caption and this sparked several rumors of another break up, and this time, it was with Song Joong Ki.

As written by IBTimes, the post garnered more than 2,000 comments with majority speculating over the said rumor. Earlier this year, the Song-Song couple received too many dating rumors but both denied them and claimed that they were only friends. However, fans are guessing that the two were dating secretly since they became closer after their drama ended. One of the proofs can be when Song Joong Ki surprisingly showed up during Song Hye Kyo's birthday fan meet.

As of the time of writing, Song Hye Kyo hasn't released any official statement regarding the issue.
