During a promotional interview for the Chinese remake of popular Japanese romantic comedy 'Operation Love', EXO's Lay shared his preference for drama roles. Lay, whose real name is Zhang Yixing said,

"Even if it's physically hard, I think I'd be okay with doing projects about war or life in the army. However, in the future, I think I'll reject any romance dramas. For some reason, I'm not completely comfortable with it. It's not like one has to show intimate scenes to portray love"

Previously, during an interview for 'Lose Control', the singer admitted that he is not comfortable with filming kissing scenes.

In the 'Operation Love' interview, Lay also said that didn't want his fans to be hurt due to a misunderstanding, which is why he has a hard time saying "I love you" to them. But despite this, Lay never fails to show his affection towards his fans.
