Rain or shine, Korean idols continue to perform for their fans. Even this winter season with the freezing temperature, K-pop stars like BTS and Red Velvet continue to give fans adorable performances.

On the first day of the year when they performed for the MBC Gayo Daejun, both BTS and Red Velvet braved the whopping below 10 degree Celsius freezing weather.

According to a report written by Koreaboo, the discomfort under the freezing weather was apparent on Red Velvet as they were wearing outfits not fit for the winter season. Even if they're already feeling cold, the girls of Red Velvet did not stop their performance and instead, they huddled together to be each other's warmth. Wendy was spotted being motherly as she initiated giving Seulgi and Irene warmth by hugging them and holding their cold hands.

On the other hand, BTS seemed not to be bothered by the cold weather as they still managed to deliver a very energetic dance number. As Jungkook, Jin, Jimin, J-Hope, Suga, V, and Rap Monster kept on jumping while waiting for the countdown, this caught the attention of Red Velvet which made them also join the excitement to turn their temperatures up.

BTS continued to deliver outrageous moves which made the girls of Red Velvet laugh out loud. Wendy kept on clapping and laughing while Irene tried to stop herself from laughing.

Although BTS didn't directly helped Red Velvet, fans can't help but ship each other with one another. On a recent report by Yibada, BTS' V and Red Velvet's Joy were involved in a dating rumor after they were caught on cam looking at each other intensely. The said staring controversy also happened during the MBC Gayo Daejun.

This isn't the first time that the two idols were involved in a dating rumor. Way back in 2015, the two were linked after BTS and Red Velvet have coincidental same routes with their local and international promotions. Insiders also shared that V got introduced to Joy by EXO's Baekhyun.
