Filipino fans of the multi-awarded medical drama "Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim" should get ready as SBS confirmed that the cast and crew of the show will visit the country.

In a report by All Kpop, SBS revealed on January 11 that the cast and crew of "Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim" were rewarded with a vacation to the beautiful shores of Cebu, Philippines after garnering above impressive ratings before its finale next week.

Soompi also added that the cast and crew will be in Cebu from January 20 to 24 just right after the drama's finale on January 16 and its special episode on January 17. Despite this good news for the Filipino fans of the show, SBS also shared that two of its main cast won't be able to come.

Han Suk Kyu who's playing the role of Teacher Kim, and Seo Hyun Jin, the actress behind the feisty doctor Seo Jung, won't be able to come due to prior commitments and personal schedules. On a lighter note, the other actors including Yoo Yeon Seok and Kim Min Jae have confirmed to join the rewarded vacation.

The cast and crew of "Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim" indeed deserved the said vacation after sweeping most of the awards in the genre category during the 2016 SBS Drama Awards. AGB Nielsen also noted that the said drama recorded one of the impressive ratings in Korean TV as it kept on having increasing ratings. Its 19^th episode had a 30.1 percent viewership record topping all dramas shown this January.

Before the cast and crew of the top medical drama visit Cebu, avid viewers should anticipate its final episode as it will not only have a mysterious prequel story but also top actress Kim Hye Soo will also have a cameo appearance.
