As it nears its finale, the 18^th episode of "Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim" is filled with revelations. Check the highlights of this episode.

1. Chairman Shin Finally Wakes Up

On the earlier part of episode 18, President Do spread rumors across the SNS about the chairman of Geosan Hospital being in a comatose stage after receiving an artificial heart surgery. These rumors soon reached the doors of Doldam Hospital causing the small hospital to be bombarded by several calls from news agencies.

After this bomb, President Do also revealed his plan of using his power to close Doldam Hospital for good. Hearing these bad news greatly affected the performance of the employees at Doldam Hospital. However, Teacher Kim didn't waiver and encouraged his co-employees not to worry because he won't let anyone close their beloved hospital down.

As if on cue to save the day, Chairman Shin also woke up after how many days. He initially had pain reflexes and then he responded to Teacher Kim's instructions then slowly opened his eyes. Dramabeans also highly noted this scene.

2. The Origin of Teacher/Master Kim

As soon as she heard of her father's good news, the chairman's daughter immediately went to Doldam Hospital. After witnessing her father in a good state, she had a deep conversation with Teacher Kim about her plans of going back to Florida and her decision to take her father's side no matter what. In concluding their conversation, she suddenly asked everyone's question: how did the name 'Teacher Kim (Kim Sa Bu)' came into existence?

The scene went into a flash back moment where Teacher Kim attended his protégé and patient Jang Hyun Joo. Just like his usual lessons with his present students Seo Jung, Dong Joo, and In Beom, Teacher Kim gave a 'tough love' treatment to Hyun Joo when he taught her some surgical practices. As the scene fades away to Hyun Joo's death, it was revealed that she was the one who gave Bu Yong Joo his nickname, Kim Sa Bu.

3. The Mysterious Mail for Dong Joo

President Do is starting to sense that he's losing to Teacher Kim with the success of Chairman Shin's surgery, so he went to releasing one of his hidden cards, but this time he targeted one of Teacher Kim's students, Kang Dong Joo.

He ordered Geosan Hospital to send a certified mail to Dong Joo containing the details of Dong Joo's father's surgery which apparently caused the latter's death. To Dong Joo's surprise, the surgeon assigned on his father was Teacher Kim. Even the review from Han Cinema also noted this particular scene.
