Good news for all Red Velvet fans! Their label SM Entertainment has finally announced that fans of the K-pop group sensation will have a name, and the best thing about it is that fans can give suggestions for the official fan club name.

An official statement from the label, as reported by Allkpop, says that they are first of all thankful for all the love and support the group has received. They also said that it will be the members of Red Velvet themselves who will get to choose the club name. The fan who gives the chosen name wins an autographed Red Velvet CD, with a handwritten message by all the girls. The deadline for the name suggestion is on February 5, and they can send their proposed fan club names via email (redvelvet-fan@daum.net)

Meanwhile, Pop Crush reports that group is getting ready to release a comeback record by February. They revealed a series of photos promoting their next release, entitled "Rookie."

Since their debut in 2014, Red Velvet has been steadily rising in their idol status. Their first single "Happiness," released digitally on August 4 was well-received, and the music video garnered 2 million views in the first 24 hours. Their first album, entitled "The Red," was released last September 2015 and even appeared on Billboard's 10 Best K-pop albums for 2015 list.

They have also received several awards for their songs and even appeared on the hit TV series "Descendants of the Sun", starring Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo. The five-member group is composed of Seulgi, Irene, Wendy, Joy and Yeri, who joined the group later on. The girls, aside from being busy as members of Red Velvet, have also worked on their individual projects.

Wendy and Seulgi worked on a song for the soundtrack of the series "Uncontrollably Fond," while joy is set to star in tvN's "The Liar and His Lover," with Lee Hyun-woo.
