BOYS24, a pre-debut group that was formed from a variety show of the same name, is making headlines, but not in the way they had hoped.  Featuring 28 members, the four units of the group will perform over the course of the year to find out who the ending members of the group will be.

Hwayoung, one of the hopeful members, had his worst nightmare come true as a private video was leaked.  In the video, he is heard talking about their fans, and states that he finds them "disgusting and that he hates being called 'oppa' by them".  He goes on to further say that, "he hates Hi-Touch events because he has to interact with the fans and they make him want to vomit".  Hear the full audio below:

CJ E&M has released an official apology in light of Hwayoung's disparaging comments.  In it, they beg fans not to take his careless words to heart and state that he will not be performing in the BOYS24 Live Concert starting February 10th.  They will be releasing their official position on the issue next week.  Read the apology statement here!
