Lee Hyori donates for a good cause

Popular singer Lee Hyori counties to impress her fans with kind acts of gratitude, as it was recently reported that she donated her appearance earnings from one of her latest projects.

According to KBS, the singer will be providing the narration for a new KBS documentary, which will be called ‘KBS Special – The Everyday Heroes Around Us‘.

The documentary will be airing on January 22nd, and will concentrate on everyday heroes who look to provide for the less fortunate.

Lee's episode showed a married couple who have known as 'The Korean Pancake Couple', due to the fact they travel the county to cook free Korean pancakes, or 'Hotteok', for hungry children and the disabled.

Their noble act moved Lee Hyori so much that she made the choice to donate her earnings from the documentary to their cause.

One staff member from the documentary explained how Hyori remains humble throughout this whole situation.

"Hyori feels that her donation is nothing to be proud of and is maintaining a humble attitude."

This isn't the first time that Lee Hyori has been found doing random acts of kindness. Lee has displayed her humble attitude by donating $50,000 to help provide heating for 300 senior citizens living by themselves. This is in addition to her constant support of animal rights.
