This awards show is has been a tradition since 1990, and is held by Sports Seoul to praise the remarkable achievements in the Korean music industry. This is one of the biggest award ceremonies in Korea and ranks up there with the Mnet Asian Music Awards, Melon Music Awards, and the Golden Disk Awards.
