2NE1 Back Together for Comeback This Summer

YG Entertainment officially announced that 2NE1 will make a comeback this summer. At last, the members of 2NE1 will be on stage together once again.

The announcement arrived just a day after revealing CL's solo debut, which has been set for May 28. The exact comeback date for 2NE1, however, remains unknown.

According to sources, YG CEO Yang Hyun Suk has been working night and day in preparation for the upcoming album of 2NE1, who is hoping to continue their successful streak of mega hits.

2NE1 made their debut in May 2009 with their fiery introduction to the world of K-pop with "Fire." Since then, they have heaped success upon success, quickly rising to the top with their unique style of music that sets them apart from the run-of-the-mill idol groups with no distinction.

Their last single, "I Love You," came in last July, followed by their first world tour 'New Evolution.' The tour included 11 destinations in 7 different countries.

With the announcement of CL's solo debut and 2NE1's comeback, K-pop is certainly in good hands through the summer.
