The dating rumors started when netizens spotted G-Dragon and Sulli wearing similar rings. Netizens also noticed that they were on the same plane earlier in January. According to Koreaboo, Sulli was at G-Dragon's exclusive party in Paris along with some friends.

The said party happened after G-Dragon's fashion exhibit for his fashion brand, PeaceMinusOne. It impressed even big names like model Bella Hadid and Hallyu star Park Shin Hye.

Meanwhile, Big Bang's agency YG Entertainment has finally spoken to clarify things.YGE stated on March 16 that the rumors are "absolutely false and ridiculous," a report from AllKPop stated. YGE added that G-Dragon even laughed because he thought it was "shockingly stupid."

YGE said they even asked G-Dragon personally before coming up with an official statement. The label further confirmed that the rings were both given by the artists' mutual friend.

Sulli was linked to G-Dragon after her break-up with Choiza. She called it quits with the rapper after almost three years of relationship.

It was not the first time that YG Entertainment denied a dating rumor involving G-Dragon. It can be recalled that he was linked to former 2NE1 member Sandara Park after a photo of them at a dinner party leaked online. It showed him protecting Dara from the crowd.

The agency said in a statement that the circulating photo of their artists was just part of a joke, YG United reported. "At the dinner party, G-Dragon just jokingly told Sandara Park "let's get a photo taken in this pose," the agency explained.
