KPOP Idols and Their Furry Pooches

I'm feeling all kinds of fuzzy inside today, and decided to write a post about K-pop idols and their adorable animal mates. As a huge animal advocate myself, I often find myself falling more in love with my favorite singers when they upload photos of their little creatures, so let's take a look at some of our favorite idols and their pets!

Big Bang's G-Dragon loves his doggies! The singer is the proud owner of two Chinese Shar Peis named Gaho and Jolie. Both dogs have appeared with their famous owner in his music videos, Instagram uploads, me2day updates, and blog posts. G-Dragon may be one of the baddest artists in K-pop today, but when it comes to his pooches, he's just a big ole' mush!

Fellow member T.O.P owns a cocker-spaniel mixed-looking cutie named Charlie.

Super Junior's Kim Heechul is papa to his three cats, Heebum, Baengshin, and Champagne. Heebum was a gift given to the idol from fans. The singer is known for his love of cats and it most definitely goes along with his strange yet quirky personality.

Girl group KARA is a huge lover of animals and have four animals altogether. Member Gyuri has an adorable white furball named KingKang, while Goo Hara is mama to an adorable maltese mixed dog named Ang-ie. While her fellow members both own dogs, Kara's Sungyeon went the unusual route when it came to owning pets, and became the mom to two hedgehogs named Wonie and Sungie!

JYJ's Micky Yoochun is a caring father to three dogs named Namu, Norae, and Harang while his partner in crime, Junsu, plays dad to five cats and one dog! I'm not to sure who takes care of these beautiful mammals while the boys are on the road, but it looks like the cuties are all taken care of and well looked out for.

Lee Hyori may be known as the nation's sex symbol, but when the singer isn't entertaining the world with her talent and gorgeous looks, she is saving the world one dog at a time. Known for her animal advocacy, and her immense work in shedding a light on animal abuse, neglect, and the importance of adoption, Hyori has become the face of fighting against animal cruelty. Throughout her time as an animal advocate, the singer adopted a dog who had had an abusive past. Soonhim is the lucky baby who was given a second chance at life when the singer adopted her. Soonshim has become a fast celebrity and is often seen hanging around with her famous mom at photoshoots and events. Hyori is currently fostering a dog named Kongshim, who she rescued from being euthanized, until she finds her furever home.

And last but definitely not least is Super Junior's Yesung who owns three turtles named Ddangkomming, Ddangkoma, and Ddangkommaeng, and a dog named Kkoming. Why turtles? I have no idea, but it seems like Yesung takes good care of reptile friends.
