Sandara Park during an interview for the promotion of her latest film "One Step" in Mar. 30, spoke out on 2NE1's disbandment. Reportedly, ever since the group disbanded late last year there are still rumors floating around that there was discord among the group and Gong Minzy. The latter left the group in Apr. 2016.

With regards to the rumored bad blood between Gong Minzy and the rest of the group, Sandara Park said that nothing has really altered on the relationship among the members. She further said that it is easy to misunderstand the real story if simply sourced by reading rumors in news articles, reports SBS. While Minzy did accordingly leave prior to the 2NE1 disbanding, she said that everyone is still close.

Sandara Park was also asked why Gong Minzy was not seen at the "One Step" pre-screening event. She said that Gong Minzy had a previous commitment that is in conflict with the screening schedule, so she cannot attend. Nonetheless, she said that her former groupmate has been supporting her in many other ways.

Accordingly, the bond between Sandara Park and Gong Minzy started way back during their trainee days. The former said that she started learning how to play the guitar after watching the Japanese movie "Midnight Sun." Allegedly, the latter told her that playing the guitar really fits her. That was when she purportedly realized that the latter was a friend that really knew her very well.

According to Soompi, Sandara Park accordingly said that for the past three years, she already realized that it is not possible for 2NE1 to last forever. She was apparently really worried about the thought of disbandment. But sad to say the break up became a reality after 10 years of them being together.

Reportedly, Sandara Park rose to fame after contending in the Philippine talent search program "Star Circle Quest." Her second finish second launched her career as a model and actress in the Philippines. When she returned to Korea with her family in 2007, she signed in with a Korean agency and debuted with 2NE1.
