The name of the Celebrity Apprentice winner just got revealed - Trace Adkins!

The country singer Trace Adkins is now the latest Celebrity Apprentice winner and Donald Trump's newest hire. The reality show's host and executive producer announced the winner in its season finale. The last episode ran for two hours in New York last Sunday night and during the last few minutes of the business-themed reality competition, Trump declared Adkins as the Celebrity Apprentice winner.

Fellow finalist, Penn Jillete, a magician, was beaten by Adkins for the award from this all-star edition of Celebrity Apprentice. Even if they were competing in the show as finalists, the two showed respect and admiration for each other. Adkins even said, "If I'm gonna lose, I wanna lose to the best, and by God he's the best."

Aside from getting the title as Celebrity Apprentice winner, Trace Adkins also won $250,000 for his chosen charity which is the American Red Cross. There is another $100,000 prize that came from Walgreens awarded to Adkins, as well.

The final task given to Adkins and Jillete is to create a new flavor of ice cream for the Delish line of Walgreens. Jillete's team had come up with Magic Swurtle while the latest Celebrity Winner decided to go with the winning flavor, Maple Macadamia Mash-Up. The finalists were also asked to make a commercial and arrange a bash (filled with celebrities) for the debut of their ice cream flavors so they can also bring in money for their own charity. At the end of the event, Jilette was able to raise $503,655 worth of ticket sales while Adkins earned $564,000 from his own ice cream bash.

Adkins had already participated on the first season of the show but only managed to be a runner up during the finals as it was won by Piers Morgan. Other celebrities who got eliminated from the latest season of the show were actresses, Lisa Rinna and Marilu Henner; actors Stephen Baldwin and Gary Busey; Dennis Rodman who is an NBA star, singers LaToya Jackson and Lil Jon plus a lot more.
