After recently being discharged from the military, actor Joo Ji Hoon as decided to that he will make a splash back into the entertainment scene with a new film. Many of the local new agencies have reported that the actor is the lead in the historical film "I Am The King." Key East Entertainment made the statement, which caused the announcement.

Joo Ji Hoon returned to civilian life in November, but it is a little known fact that this won't be his first comeback project. He was cast in the musical "Doctor Zhivago" but was forced to halt the production of the film due to his damaged vocal chords. 

In this new movie, "I Am The King," Hoon will be playing the historical figure King Sejong of the Chosun era. The plot of the story is how the king experienced a commoner's life by switching lives with a beggar. Jang Kyu Sung will be directing the film, and they will begin shooting at the end of February.
