EXO In The Top 10 List Of Billboard’s Boxscore Chart, The Group Earned $1 Million From A Single US Concert

EXO lands on the 8th position of Billboard's Boxscore Chart, which is also the only K-Pop group in the list. The boxscore chart exhibits the top 100 highest gross ticket sales from venues.

Soompi reported, EXO ranks number 8 with its EXO'rDIUM tour at The Forum in Inglewood, California on April, 28. The concert has raised $1,436,158, which means 8,668 out of 9,739 were sold out. The ticket prices ranged from $80, $100, $180, and $215.

The reported revenue showed on Billboard's Boxscore Chart doesn't include revenue from merchandise and other streams. The data was obtained from concert promoters, booking agents, venues, and artist managers, but not all concert promoters are willing to report their data to Billboard.

According to Billboard, EXO has been consistently one of K-Pop's most selling acts. Their show in Newark, New Jersey on April 30 has garnered thousands of EXO-L cheered on their energetic performance. At the end of the show, EXO's leader, Suho, revealed that the group is working on their new album, although it still needs to be confirmed by the label.

In other news, Suho recently celebrated his birthday on May 22. All of EXO members gathered to have a birthday dinner. However, Lay was unable to come since his condition didn't allow him to. EXO members also shared their birthday wishes to Suho on their Instagram.

The members posted a photo of them with Suho celebrating his birthday at a Sushi place. Baekhyun wrote the birthday wishes to Suho along with puns, and jokes.

After wrapping up EXO'rDIUM world tour, EXO is yet to reveal their new project. However, rumor has it that SM Entertainment is preparing for some major comebacks during the latter half of this year. The groups that reportedly will be making their comebacks this year include EXO, Super Junior, TVXQ, and SHINee.
