Prior to his military enlistment, Lee Min Ho sat down for an interview with Cosmopolitan Korea. "The Heirs" actor talked about his life as an actor and his ideal description of a perfect love. According to Kpop Herald, Lee Min Ho's perfect love is the kind of love that can create positive energy in every part of life through the stability that love gives.

He also emphasized that love isn't something that forces someone to change to be someone they're not. "I think it is also important to keep oneself as they are. I try to see others as they are and show myself as I am," said the actor.

However, when talking about his relationship with Suzy Bae, Lee Min Ho keeps the matter to himself. Even when the couple never drops a single hint of their relationship, rumor about them getting married after military enlistment has been surfacing in social media for weeks now.

According to a report from IBT, Lee Min Ho's agency, MYM Entertainment stated that the rumor isn't true and sort of baseless since the couple has never talked about their relationship in public. The agency also denied the allegation about Lee Min Ho getting special treatment during his service in the military, said he will follow the rules set by the Military Manpower Administration.

Lee Min Ho left for his military duty on May 12. The actor will be serving as a public social worker in Gangnam, instead of doing a service as a military officer. Lee Min Ho was assigned to public service after a physical exam showed his condition is not suitable to do military service.
