The body of G.O.D. singer Son Ho Young's girlfriend was laid to rest at the Seoul Medical Center in South Korea on Wednesday.

The singer was in attendance for his late girlfriend's funeral, according to the website Soompi.

A tow truck driver discovered the dead body in Son Ho Young's car in the Gangnam District of Seoul, where the vehicle had been parked illegally since May 15.

The driver alerted local authorities to the deceased girl in Son Ho Young's Kia Carnival. Son Ho Young's girlfriend death was reportedly self-inflicted.

The Korean publications Sports Hosun and Sports Chosun revealed several lines of what their reporters claim is the deceased girl's suicide note.

"I had a lot of worries because of debt," the G.O.D. singer's girlfriend allegedly wrote, adding, "I feel disappointed by Son Ho Young."

Family members of the deceased girl were reportedly screaming during the K-pop star's two-hour questioning by Gangnam Police on Tuesday night.

The family left the station in a taxi with Son Ho Young's manager, according to media outlet Osen.

The G.O.D. singer is reportedly in a state of shock.

Son Ho Young is reportedly unable to continue with any of his scheduled professional commitments.

"With Son Ho Young's album production, the couple had little fights, but nothing big that could have led to this incident," a representative for the singer told CJ E&M enewsWorld.

"Son Ho Young is in great shock because he never imagined anything like this to happen."

The star has cancelled his two-week guest hosting role on the Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation radio show "Two O'Clock Date" and an appearance on the South Korean sitcom "Pure Love."

"Around 3 p.m. (Korean Standard Time) today, a woman, who has been revealed to be close with Son Ho Young was found dead in a car parked near Apgujeong's Misung Apartment Complex with a lit coal briquette," a Gangnam police spokesperson said Tuesday evening.

Son Ho Young had reportedly lent his girlfriend his car since he reportedly had access to a vehicle provided by his management company.

The couple had been dating for a year, yet had grown apart in recent days, according to Son Ho Young's representative.

"Due to Son Ho Young's preparations for his upcoming album, he has gotten busier," the rep said. "This caused him to have minor arguments with the deceased but it wasn't to the point where something this big could happen."
