Psy Lookalike Crashes Cannes Film Festival: 'Say Hi To Him' King Of K-Pop Tweets About His Imposter [PHOTOS]

Will the real Psy Oppa please stand up?

A Psy-lookalike was spotted yesterday at France's Cannes Film Festival, according to the New York Post.

One anonymous source for the paper spotted the King of K-pop's imposter at Cannes's Torch Beach Club, a frequent stop for celebrities like Justin Timberlake, Paris Hilton and Mark Ronson, in town for the festival.

"[The Psy imposter] had three security guards standing with him at all times, surrounding the table in suits and earpieces, scamming free drinks and bottle service, including bottles of Cristal Rose."

The phony "Gentleman" even allegedly booked a gig for himself at Cannes club VIP and another in Monaco.

On Monday night, Psy's doppelganger attended a top-secret high society event hosted by socialite Goga Ashkenazi and Le Baron at the Château Garibondy.

Celebrity attendees included actress Rosario Dawson and Czech model Karolina Kurvova.

By Tuesday morning, the Cannes Film Festival organizers realized they had a fake K-pop icon in their midst.

"We've been duped," the organizers said via email. "I had a conversation with his label [YG Entertainment] and it wasn't him, just a lookalike."

Psy took the incident in stride, joking with his manager Scooter Braun in a Twitter post on Tuesday.

"Seems like there's another me at Cannes," the South Korean rapper joked. "Say hi to him Scooter Braun, lol."

The K-pop star included the hashtag Psy In Singapore for anyone wondering where in the world he actually was.

It wasn't the first time this week that Psy has had the opportunity to show his lighter side.

When K-pop's biggest international star walked out onstage at Sunday's 2013 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas, he was scheduled to just be a presenter.

Host Tracy Morgan had a different idea.

"I am here to introduce to you one of the most exciting singers and dancers of all time," Psy said, introducing a performance by Chris Brown.

"He is literally..."

Suddenly the unmistakable opening strains of the rapper's current hit "Gentlemen" filled the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Dressed in a yellow suit and sunglasses like the one worn by South Korean comedian Yoo Jae Suk in Psy's music videos for "Gentleman" and "Gangnam Style, Morgan bounded onto the stage, challenging the King of K-pop to a good old fashioned dance-off.

Although initially appearing to be a bit taken aback, Psy quickly rose to the occasion, flaunting the dance moves that launched him to international superstardom.

The crowd let out a huge cheer.

Clearly sensing he had met his match, the "Saturday Night Live" alum enthusiastically embraced his dance partner.

"I love you Psy," Morgan said. "You show that even guys with a little bit of meat on their bones can be sex symbols."
