Netmarble Games announced that it will become the second largest shareholder with a stake of 25.7% by investing $200 million in BigHit Entertainment.

Netmarble said, "Netmarble and BigHit, which are gaining influence in the global game and music market, are investing in a business synergy."

The Big Hit team also said, "With investors who have both financial and strategic perspectives, Big Hit has become more stable in the future."
