After spotting a UFO over the historic site in Santee, California, Ellen Henry of the Santee Historical Society can add the phenomenon on top of the Edgemor Barn's other famous occurrence: ghost sightings.

Ellen accidentally caught the alleged UFO during a work trip, according to The Huffington Post.

"I was at the Edgemoor property, in the middle of the day, to take pictures of the barn to update the SHS barn logo," she said.

"I was constantly looking up and around the area, including the sky's background, so I can get it just right, and not at any time did I see anything in the sky or hear a sound of an aircraft."

Which is where opinions differ about the reported flying object.

Edgemoor is known to have many reports of paranormal activity, reports Newsoxy, to the point where investigators were called up to make sense of the ghostly sightings.

"Santee's Old Edgemoor Hospital was a place of healing, home and inevitably last rights," says the Historical Society website.

"Many people died on this property, the exact number is not known. Even before the hospital and its buildings were demolished accounts of paranormal were reported."

"We think someone's come into the barn and we get up to look, and no one is there," says Elaine Murphy, president of the SHS.

With ghostly voices and images typically not noticed by people during the event, the alleged UFO photo may be documentation of a paranormal sighting rather than an extraterrestrial one.

According to The Daily Mail, the photo is unlikely to be a military or civilian aircraft.

"Being from a military background I am familiar with these types of aircrafts, and at this point the closest aircraft that is often mistaken for a UFO are the Stealth Fighter Bombers, and that was definitely not one," affirmed Henry.

Nearby public airports Gillespie Field and Marine Corps Air Station Miramar failed to account for the photo from their own activities.

Which begs the question, if Henry didn't hear or see it, was it a paranormal image or a UFO stealthily gliding by?
