The Rose’s New Song ‘Red’ Shares an Optimistic Message to the Youth

Have you ever felt like there are so many things that hold you back? Things and matters that confine you and hinder you from showing what you're truly capable of?

Well, Rose's newest anthem might just be the perfect song for you!

The four-piece pop-rock troupe recently unveiled their newest single called "Red," and it carries an optimistic message to the youth. Like the color red, the band implores young individuals to break free and fight for their passion, love, and dreams.

"I wanna be red/ Just like the burning fire in front of me/ I wanna be red/ Just like the sky painted in red/ I don't care/ I wanna be," the band sings in their latest drop.

The song, which comes around 10 months since their last offering, is accompanied by a music video that sees the members -- Kim Woo-sung, Park Do-Joon, Lee Ha-Joon, and Lee Jae-Hyeong -- embody what freedom means.

With a bright and youthful atmosphere, the track's visuals find success in translating what "Red" is all about: Being not afraid to go after what you really love and have fun and enjoyment in the process.

Showing appreciation of the song and their performance as a whole, The Rose's fans were quick to leave positive comments on the music video.

"This is such a masterpiece! I found it extremely soothing and uplifting at the same time," a YouTube user named SpottedLeaf commented.

Justyna Kampkai, another netizen, meanwhile said that the band "deserves more recognition."

"[Let's] appreciate that we have [such] beautiful songs that they give us," she further added.

The Rose was first launched into the mainstream music scene in 2018 and has since given their fans hits like "Sorry," "She's In The Rain, and "Like We Used To."

They are set to play at the MUV Concert Hall in Seoul this August 17 to kick-off their world tour called "We Rose You." They impressed fans across the globe last year when they embarked on their debut world tour, "Paint It, Rose."
