Boyfriend wrecks Danica Patrick: NASCAR’s Most Famous Couple’s Collision Bound to Happen

At one point or another, a wreck inside the racing track involving the popular NASCAR couple will happen, and it just recently did as boyfriend wrecks Danica during a Coca-Cola 600 event.

Saturday night, the couple is competitively racing against each other together with the other NASCAR drivers when the car of the boyfriend wrecks Danica Patrick's. Only 64 laps are remaining when Ricky Stenhouse Jr. slithered into the side of her girlfriend's car, thus, pushing her car somewhat up the race track. Stenhouse cut off Brad Keselowski, the Sprint Cup champion, during the race, but by doing so, both Stenhouse and Danica Patrick's car crashed into the wall.

Brad Keselowski blamed himself for the incident that happened inside the track, as he believed that Danica held her line. He stated, "I just cut Danica off," I didn't know she was still down there and I caused a big wreck. I cut her off and wrecked her and myself. I feel bad for her and I send my apologies to her." Earlier reports made this year stated that Keselowski saw Danica Patrick as "someone that hasn't won races or proved that she is competitive."

The NASCAR couple was able to continue during the race but Keselowski's car was totally damaged, finishing only at 36th spot. Meanwhile, Patrick and Stenhouse did continue with the race with the latter finishing two laps down at 14th spot. Danica Patrick hit the wall again after the event with Keselowski but she managed to finish at 29th place.

Through her team, Danica Patrick released an statement when she agreed that that Stenhouse apparently slid into her, "I felt like we were making real progress and starting to get the car to a place that was really good, and had an accident, which is unfortunate because we were moving up. But nothing we can do about it now."
