Jang Keun Suk Prepares Fans For New Album Release With Merchandise Store Opening In Tokyo

Jang Keun Suk undeniably has a massive fan-following in Japan. The talented actor-singer has had fans there for years and his popularity always seems to be growing.

Just two days before his second Japanese album, Nature Boy, will be released, Jang Keun Suk has re-opened his merchandise shop in downtown Tokyo.

On May 27 the opening ceremony took place at the store with hundreds of fans in attendance.

The official store, which features dozens of items with Jang Keun Suk's picture on them such as passport holders, mouse pads, and other household items also includes some of the outfits the singer has worn in his music videos.

"Fans will get to know me more," the actor said at the ceremony in front of an estimated 500 fans who had gathered.

The merchandise shop was previously located in Shin-Okubo, but in March the lease agreement ended and the actor had been searching for a new location since then. Now located in the heart of downtown Tokyo, the store's name has been changed from 'World Prince Shop' to 'Asia Prince' (AP).

"Whenever I'm down, I come to Japan ad gain strength," he Love Rain actor addressed fans at the shop's opening. "I'm always energized at the sight of fans. I even saw some at the airport. Let's stay forever." His kind words to his supporters were met with cheers.

While in Japan for the release of his upcoming album, Jang Keun Suk will also play radio host on All Night Nippon Gold on May 30. He will have full-run of the two-hour-long live program without the help of any interpreters.

"This is my first live program in Japan," the singer explained. "I'm already thinking of what I should say. I'll try to speak Japanese as much as possible."

Jang Keun Suk is well known for his Japanese fluency and will be the first Korean star to host the program live. Big Bang and Park Yong Ha have previously been in charge of the radio show, but their episodes were pre-recorded prior to airing.

Nature Boy will drop on May 29 and already Japanese fans are eager to hear what their favorite Korean singer has in store for them. But in the meantime they can enjoy shopping for his official merchandise at AP in Tokyo!
