Bob Fergusom, the Vice President for Global Caddilac stated, "Cadillac is back." The motor company is currently doing its best to push the luxury brand with smart and effective marketing techniques. Recently, a Cadillac was featured on the cover of a magazine, the Bergdorf Goodman. Furthermore, GM says that the ATS Sports Sedan, which won the title as the 2013 North American Car of the Year, has been very helpful in the boosting sales record of the luxury brand.

The Vice President of General Motors for US Sales Operations, Kurt McNeil, made a statement regarding the impressive market performance of the Cadillac. "Cadillac is growing faster than it has in almost 40 years, the pickup rebound is in full swing and we're seeing strong retail demand for our crossovers. These are all powerful signs that the gradual recovery in the economy is becoming more broad-based. That's great news for the auto industry and General Motors."

For all the brands sold by General Motors, the company reported that May is the best sales month they have recorded since September of 2008.

Even though Cadillac is back and competing highly in the market, it still needs to prove a lot to finally regain its days of sheer glory. This year, there were only 63,000 Cadillac sales made so far while in 1976, sales for the most famous luxury brand car almost reach to 135, 258 units. Furthermore, GM had sold 2.59 million cars in 2011 while was able to close deals for 5 million units 14 years ago.
