After School Joo Yeon had her rice cake soup in Japan instead of Korea for new years(it is a Korean tradition to eat a bowl of rice cake soup every new years to symbolize becoming a year older).

On January 23rd she posted on her Twitter "Happy new years. I'm eating rice cake soup in Japan!", along with two photos.

One of the photos is a bowl of rice cake soup and the other captures a beautiful image of herself.

After School is currently in Japan right now where the demand for the girls is very high. According to the entertainment company associate After School will be releasing a first full album on March 8th and they will be hosting first solo concert 'Playgirlz' from April 27th to 30th in Japan.
