Following the UFO footage caught near the Popocatepetl volcano crater on May 30, reports of similar sightings recorded the day before have surfaced.

According to UFO Sightings Daily, a contributing editor Ana Luisa Cid received a link to a video recorded by CENAPRED station Tlamacas of UFOs in the same area as the footage recorded by Televisa the following night.

"Only a day before, CENAPRED station Tlamacas picked up an unknown light in the same area," she wrote to UFO Sightings Daily coordinator Scott C. Waring.

"These images were forwarded to me via e-mail by Verónica Olmedo Cano and Ros Persa."

Waring claims the volcano is "famous for its UFO seen over its crater and often the UFOs will enter it."

A video was posted last year recorded by CENAPRED showing an object diving into the Popocatepetl crater.
