It might be fun to post Justin Bieber pictures on tumblr, but the Bieb doesn’t want his pictures taken unless he says so, according to his bodyguard. Justin Bieber's bodyguards are under investigation for allegedly getting touch with someone who was trying to take his picture.

Justin Bieber’s bodyguard explained that he was only trying to protect the young heartthrob when he went after a picture snatcher. Justin Bieber’s bodyguards face a new misdemeanor battery investigation after an alleged incident on Saturday.

TMZ reported that sources in the police force confirmed that Bieber and his security team were visiting a hookah lounge in Hollywood when someone tried to take a picture of Selena Gomez’s on-again, off-again boyfriend. Reports vary as to whether the person was a fan or a patron at the lounge. The photographer was not a paparazzo.

Bieber’s bodyguards allegedly tried to stop the person from taking the picture when some kind of scuffle broke out between the bodyguard and the unidentified individual. By the time police arrived at the scene Justin and his bodyguards had already left the lounge.

Bieber is not a suspect in the investigation, but it is unclear what role he played in the incident.

Last week, Bieber’s bodyguards were accused of manhandling paparazzi in three separate incidents in Miami. A bodyguard clashed with a photographer had just taken a picture of who took a snap of the teen singer after a Miami Heat-Pacers game aty the American Airlines Arena. The paparazzo refused to to delete the picture after the bodyguard asked. An security guard at the arena had to diffuse the situation.

Two other incidents allegedly happened at the Hit Factory recording studio in Miama last Wednesday. The first happened after a paparazzo attempted to take pictures of the pop star at 4 in the morning. TMZ posted an audio tape of the alleged incident, but all it revealed was Bieber telling his security team to make the person stop taking pictures. Later that day, Miami police were called out to the recording studio after a paparazzo claimed one of Bieber’s bodyguards “choked” him as he took pictures of Bieber skateboarding in the studio’s parking lot. The parking lot battery probe is ongoing and may be reviewed by the state attorney’s office.

A similar incident is alleged to have taken place in a San Fernando Valley Best Buy store in February.
