A rep from Kanye West's camp is speaking against the allegations made by Canadian model Leyla Ghobadi to Star Magazine that the rapper cheated on his pregnant girlfriend Kim Kardashian.

Ghobadi said that she was seeing West between July and October of 2012.  By that time Kim was already pregnant but had yet to announce the news.  The model added that the rapper told her he was only with the Kardashian "for publicity and nothin serious."

In response to the accusations Kanye's rep told ET:   "This most recent attack on Kanye West and his family is totally without merit. It's a blatant attempt by a misguided individual who is clearly seeking publicity, and another in a series of malicious stories drummed up by non-credible 'news' sources. This is a sad attempt to hurt two people trying to live their lives."

As told by Star, Ghobadi and West first met when the rapper spotted the model dancing among a crowd of people at an Atlantic City show in July.  Afterwards he invited her for drinks at HQ Nitghtclub then to come back to his hotel room.  After an initial rejection, Ghobadi did eventually join Kanye in his room.

"We began to make out for a while, and next thing I knew, we were both naked and having sex," the model told the publication.

According to Ghobadi, the last time the "Yeezus" rapper tried to contact her was last week.  However, she has avoided him ever since she found out Kim was pregnant.

Despite, Kanye West and pregnant Kim Kardashian denying the claims, Star will continue backing the story.
