Although the Central African Republican is battling to earn a spot at the top of the group as it languishes in third place, it is ranked the 59th best team in the world

The Central African Republic has two goals in their favor with seven goals working against them while Botswana also has two goals in their favor with six goals working against them.

Ethiopia, ranked number one within Group A, and South Africa, ranked number two, are both leading the group with ten and eight points respectively.

Thus far, Botswana has fallen to Zimbabwe and Ethiopia, tied with Egypt and won against Malawi. The Central African Republic defeated Botswana earlier this month (2-0) and Egypt but has fallen to Ethiopia, Burkina Faso, and South Africa while drawing with Egypt once.

The match between the Central African Republic and Botswana will certainly have an impact on the fate of Group A teams.
