Selena Gomez tweeted the name in a rush of excitement of being a new big sister. Selena Gomez became a big sister on Wednesday when her mom Mandy Cornett Teefey gave birth to her first child with husband Brian Teefey.

Selena Gomez first announced that her mom was pregnant on Mother's Day when she posted a photo of herself touching her mom's baby bump on Twitter with the caption, "Hope all the amazing moms had a great day! I have the best momma in the world :)) I love you so much!"

Selena had already confessed that ''I want to be the best sister in the world. I'm really going to spoil the baby! I can't wait. There's going to be a big age difference, so I think I'm going to be more like a cool aunt.''

Selena Gomez was photographed on Thursday as she was jumping into a car after leaving the Northridge, Calif., hospital after she visited her mom and her new baby sister.

The hospital has been under constant watch by the media who have seen a number of family and friends and family coming and going. The 20-year-old singer and actress was photographed on Friday night with a group of pals.
