If you turn on your television in Korea these days, you have a good chance of seeing Song Ji Hyo. She plays the role of Hong Da In, the proud royal nurse devoted to the fugitive court physician in the drama "Heaven's Order."  And she makes regular appearances on the variety show, "Running Man" with Kang Gary.

The actress is known for playing the Prince's first love, Min Hyo Rin in "Princess Hours," Lady Ye So Ya in the drama "Jumong" and the queen in the film "A Frozen Flower."

Here are a few things you may not know about Song Ji Hyo.

1. She and JYJ's Kim Jae Joong have some history. She appeared in two JYJ videos and then starred with label mate Kim in the film, "Jackal is Coming." In this film, she kidnaps a Hallyu star, played by Kim Jae Joong. For this film, she learned to scale walls and hand-to-hand combat.

2. She enjoys learning new skills for her roles.

 "Having a career as an actress is a blessing since you have to keep learning new things to act out a part," said Song. "I have been learning to ride horses for eight years, which helped a lot in this drama. I also learned ballet and had etiquette lessons. I have a very curious nature, which is probably why I have fun learning a lot of new things.

3. She is bold and loves adventures.

"Recently for 'Running Man,' we went to Macao to bungee jump. I always wanted to try it so I did it without even blinking," said Song. "But it was really high and I was floating in the air for a long time. I thought I would have to shut my eyes but I kept them open and it was fun.

4. Her role as the queen in the film "Frozen Flower" inspired her to want a similar but perhaps less tragic love in real life. In the film, the queen is forced to sleep with the King's guard, played by Jo In Sung, but they fall in love. It's a doomed love with tragic consequences. 

After that she said she wanted to fall in love, "Very passionately, as if I would give up everything before I die."

Earlier this year, she confessed that since she was turning 30, she had started to think about marriage.

5. Will she tie the knot with her CEO? Song Ji Hyo is dating Baek Chang Joo, CEO of her agency, C-JES Entertainment. Internet users do not seem pleased with this relationship, as they would prefer to "ship" her with her "Running Man" co-star Gary. She won't comment on the future of their relationship.

As to the future of her career, the actress has no plans.

"If there is an opportunity for a role that will help me grow to my full potential, I will take it and not care if that role ruins my image," said Song
