Bjork Tour 2013 Teases in a Rare U.S. Appearance at Bonnaroo

Bjork tour 2013 dazzled on Saturday night with a rare American performance. The Icelandic singer Bjork made a rare U.S. appearance at the Bonnaroo 2013 show on Saturday night.

Bjork’s Swan Dress didn’t make an appearance, but Katy Perry has been seen at a Bjork show all gothed out. Bjork was dazzling in a spiked headdress at the Bonnaroo 2013 concert.
Bjork, who began her music career as the singer and songrwriter with the band The Sugarcubes, gave her fans what they wanted during her performance at the music festival. Bjork performed a wide range of songs from her long career and wore an unusual and memorable outfit that looked like something straight out of Clive Barker’s “Hellraiser” movies in a spiky headdress and lumpy dress, according to Glide Magazine.
Besides seeing the “Army of Me” singer in an unusual outfit, the audience got to hear a bunch of the iconic Icelandic singer’s trademark songs. Bjork alternated between “booming dance tracks to her calling card style of ethereal near-pop,” according to Glide Magazine.
Fuse Network said that Bjork’s performance at the Tennessee music festival on Saturday had a strong sci-fi vibe. Besides her dress looking like it came out of a 1950s science fiction movie, the images displayed behind her on the LED screen were also trippy and hallucinogenic. The LED screen didn’t show the usual close-ups of the performance, the enormous screens showed a series of strange imagery including explosions, shifting tectonic plates, and starfish holding hands during her appearance.
Bjork was in full and strong voice on Saturday night after the surgery she had in November of 2012 to remove nodules from her vocal chords.
Last year, Bjork wrote “It´s been very satisfying to sing all them clear notes again. I’m sorry I had to cancel stuff earlier in the year, didn’t want to talk about this until i knew for sure if it would work.”
